FS: Omega Constellation Pie-Pan Automatic Cal.561 gold cap *LINK*

Up for sale is a vintage Omega Constellation Automatic Chronometer (COSC) with a Pie-Pan dial and date function.

The mechanism is an automatic caliber 561 and is super clean (see picture) and starts up immediately when the watch is handled. But its service history is unknown so it very likely needs a cleaning and lubrication.

The dial has a lot of patina and is original, as are the hands. The hands and hour marks have lume (at the end of the batons, near the dial edge), which is also original and intact. See the picture, but keep in mind it was hard to shine my UV pen light on the dial and hold my camera phone steady under low-light conditions so it's a bit blurry.

The crystal seems original (note, that this model did not have the engraved Omega logo inside the crystal and I don't see one here) and has very little wear. No obvious scratches.

The case is gold capped including the bezel and lugs. The case underneath the bezel and lugs is stainless steel. The case is in good to very good condition with minimal marks and scratches. The medallion on the back has the Geneva Observatory and the 7 stars, though there is normal wear and tear.

The case is 33mm in diameter (without the crown), is 42mm lug-to-lug, and has 18mm wide lugs. The case, including crystal, is 8.5mm thick.

The crown is signed and is 2mm deep and ~5mm wide.

The buckle has the Omega logo on the top but it's likely an aftermarket repro.

The watch comes with a cognac-colored vintage-style genuine alligator leather strap, which is a perfect accompaniment for the watch. It is 110mm/72mm, so a standard length.

I am selling the watch as is. Asking $800. Free shipping to the CONUSA. The watch is also up on Ebay - see pics there.
