FS: 1970's Certina Chronolympic Regatta Valjoux 728 *LINK* *PIC*

FS: Funky 1970's Certina Chronolympic Chronograph 'Regatta' with valjoux 728.

This is as close to unworn condition as I have ever seen.

The jumbo case seems untouched. Brushed case finish is just beautiful with hardly any visible wear marks.

The dial and hands are in very good shape, showing patina. It's a Certina Swiss Multicolor dial with Center Chronominute Function, Hour Counter at 6 o'clock.

The movement is very clean, and functions as is should. No service history documented.

But.....the watch is running at +8s a day on the time graph with an amplitude of 248. So I think it is good to wear and enjoy.

Full stainless steel screw back case.

All original 40mm Certina with amazing wrist presence.

Comes on the nice blue NOS tropic strap.

This is an amazing timepiece and notable mentions of this watch have been included in various articles over the years..

One being, Hodinkee's Talking Watches with Man of the worlds, Alan Melah (video link below)
