FS: Gallet Multichron Calendar -- 14k gold, valjoux 72c

Vintage Gallet Multichron Calendar, solid 14k gold chronograph, powered by a Valjoux 72c perpetual calendar movement. Watch has some scuffs, both the case and the crystal. But what you would expect from a 70-year old watch. The movement runs well and all chronograph and calendar functions work (except I have not figured out how to set the month...) Watch runs at 22 s/d with Amplitude of 204.

Price is 4299 shipped and paypaled. Comes with alligator strap.

Description from Gallet world (http://www.galletworld.com/gallet_watch_multichron_calendar.html)

Powered by the groundbreaking Valjoux calibre 72C, the Gallet MultiChron Calendar was the first professional chronograph wristwatch to include automatically adjusting date and day-of-the-week features. Coveted by serious collectors, only a limited number of these highly complex timepieces were produced as they were too expensive for the average consumer to afford.
Except for the lack of a screw-down winding crown, the post -1956 Gallet MC Calendar shares the exact same components as the famous Rolex “Jean-Claude Killy” version, valued at nearly a quarter of a million dollars. While original production records have yet to surface, many experts believe the Rolex version to be a collaboration between the 2 companies.
