Here are the seller's snaps of my PWI 1873...
In Response To: Re: WoW ()

Hello

Many thanks at all - I`m happy to find this forum and collectors they also like this style watches.

Hey René! We're happy to have you and a place to discuss these types of watches. Hopefully our chosen topic sphere is neither too broad nor too narrow!

And sorry for my bad english, I try my best :-)

It's a far sight better than my french. The only thing I can probably do in French is cause diplomatic incidents and use certain racing terms:
Chicane, Pelaton, etc.

@Chuck

Do you have a PWI - wow, they are very rare.

I have heard they are pretty uncommon.

I have also a black PWI with the 1873. Also I have a civil and a militry version with the lemania 5100 from PWI. The most collector in Europe don't know this label.

I have seen a couple of 5100 PWI's but I haven't bid on any. Perhaps I shoudl consider doing so.

The black PWI was often on my wrist - I like it also with the patina.

Here are the seller's photo's of my example...
I currently have it on a Large Hole Rios Perf Strap bought from Nick Gabarro some time ago. I also have a $15 twin pushbutton release Butterfly deployant.

But I'd sure love to get an original bracelet for her. Expecially one long enough for my wrist!

Cheers

René

Cheers!
