:Hello Chuck
Wow, your PWI 1873 looks very nice and I think you have a special grey version. I saw only 2 of them at the last 10 - 12 years. Also are the blue dials most rarer then the blacks. Take care of this real rare watch. Thanks for sharing pics.
Here are my PWI`s
a Orfina Porsche Design 1873 and a PWI 1873
I bought both watches(1873)with a steel / glass (1873 )caseback. I had never seen bevor a steel caseback ? Great to see.
Hey René! We're happy to
: have you and a place to discuss these types
: of watches. Hopefully our chosen topic
: sphere is neither too broad nor too narrow!
Thank you! My first choice are Orfinas and this style of watches, also I like vintae Heuer and vintage Omega. I like watches with the Lemania 5100 Movement.
For example: only the Lemania 5100 powered watches we can discuss a long time.
It's a far sight better than my
: french. The only thing I can probably do in
: French is cause diplomatic incidents and use
: certain racing terms: Chicane, Pelaton, etc.
Thanks again, but I live in the german part of switzerland. A long time ago I had learned french at the school. My bad english is much better :-)
I have
: seen a couple of 5100 PWI's but I haven't
: bid on any. Perhaps I shoudl consider doing
: so.
As far as I know PWI was produced for the south american market. In Europe is it difficult to find one.
: But I'd sure love to get an original bracelet
: for her. Expecially one long enough for my
: wrist!
My PWI s have different bracelets - I`m not sure but I think they are original. One Clasp has the PWI Logo an one the Pd logo.
Cheers
René

: @Chuck
: Do you have a PWI - wow, they are very rare.
: I have heard they are pretty uncommon.
: I have also a black PWI with the 1873. Also I
: have a civil and a militry version with the
: lemania 5100 from PWI. The most collector in
: Europe don't know this label. I have
: seen a couple of 5100 PWI's but I haven't
: bid on any. Perhaps I shoudl consider doing
: so.
: The black PWI was often on my wrist - I like
: it also with the patina. Here are the
: seller's photo's of my example...
: I currently
: have it on a Large Hole Rios Perf Strap

: Butterfly deployant.
