I have been following the Antiquorum watch auctions for several years, particularly the Rolex 6238 Pre Daytona.
As of a year ago the silver dial model had stabilized in the 22-25,000 USD range with the black dial ones going for 80,000 plus USD .
Very few silver dial 6238s were seen in 2007 so it was of interest when two were offered at the Geneva, 15th & 16th March auction.
Lot 721 sold for 38,495 USD and lot 313 sold for 44,297 USD. I think that these increases are due largely to the falling USD.
Thanks a lot Uncle Sam, and if you are a US citizen be certain to vote this fall.
Does anyone know what the Omega 321 Chronographs are selling for currently?
New the price difference was about $15.00, now it is ridiculous.
