This watch was purchased BNIB with paperwork (I no longer have this) in the fall of 1989. Here are the specs:
Ref # 169.306
Case: Stainless Steel 36mm diameter, 20mm lug width, 43mm lug to lug
functions: time, date, unidirectional 60 click time elapse bezel, 30min and 12 hour counters.
movement: ETA base movement with a Dubois Depraz chronograph module (beating strong)
accuracy: losing about 8-9 sec/day, power reserve is about 36 hours+ (would recommend an overhaul)
water resistance: originally rated at 200m (NO LONGER THE CASE...SEE BELOW)
crystal: sapphire
bracelet: has been sized for a small wrist (slightly under 6" to about 6 1/4") I will send you the extra links.
box: the box is pretty worn out, but I will include this as well.
THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT THIS WATCH:
#1. The water reistance has been compromised. If you wash this watch, or submerge it in water the crystal will fog up.
#2. The pusher at 4 o' clock has fallen off in the past. I managed to put it back on and it seems secure.
Overall the watch is in very good condition. However I would STRONGLY suggest getting a movement overhaul and a gasket replacement to improve water resistance. This is a 20 year old watch that has never been serviced. The case is relatively unscratched, and the only water exposure the watch has ever gotten is a rinse in the sink. (I don't swim or dive). The watch was used semi-regularly during the first 3-4 years that I had it, and was mostly worn for the office. (a desk diver in the truest sense of the word). Over the years my collection grew and the Tag fell into disuse for most of the last 10 years. I would only wind the watch once a month for the sake of the movement. I think its time for this watch to find a new home. Thanks for looking. Any questions please ask.
