Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. In addition, we request that sellers linking to online auctions or listings offer some benefit or accomodation to ChronoTrader readers (for example, some discount or an undertaking to end an auction early, to keep a watch "in the family"). Photos must be of the actual item for sale in its present condition. No counterfeit or replica products. No post for the same item may be repeated within 7 days, except to lower the asking price. Commercial dealers are limited to three unique posts per day. [More...]
Hello all,
For sale is my all-original 1974 Seiko 6139-6015 Chronograph. The watch is running and keeping time, although i have not had it time-graphed for accuracy. The quick-set functions work properly (push crown gently to change date, push firmer to change day and date). The chronograph functions as well (starts, stops, resets to 12), although it can be a tad sticky at times and probably needs a cleaning as I'm unaware of it's service history. There is a chip on the edge of the crystal at the 3'oclock position, the rest of the crystal has the small micro-scratching you'd expect from a watch this age, same goes for the case. The band is an AM stainless steel w. butterfly clasp (the strap it came on was some awful stretchy thing i tossed out immediately). Please refer to the pictures below for best visual description. I've also created a link to a video of the chronograph functioning. I do have an original bracelet for another of my 6139's that i'd be willing to include (see pictures). This strap is sized for a 7" wrist with an additional 3/4" left on the micro-extension, so it should accomodate up to 7 3/4". Overall, i'm quite pleased with the watch's condition, but understand that it may require a cleaning/servicing soon. As such, i'm asking $315 USD (paypal and shipping incl). To include the original bracelet (original to my other watch), please add an additional $50 USD.
