Hi guys
For sale this lovely and amazing watch that doesn't get so much wrist time, unfortunately. Need some space so this will have to go!
I call this "beetle" because of lugs and fat Art Deco indexes, but it looks more like a "militart-type" Zenith from 40s. This watch appears to be special to my eyes for many reasons: 35mm stainless steel case has a screw-back closure, and under this there's a dust cover protection, typical from waterproof watch from 40s. Fat and strange lugs give him an atypical look that was rarely seen on this type of watches, especially from Zenith.
Dial is the most lovely part IMHO: fat, yellowish, art deco radium indexes will let your counters burn, a perfect match with the amazing tropical "bicolor" brown tones! Radium hands will complete the set.
Movement is fully working, no service history.
Request: it's very difficult to price this jewel because of rarity. I red that the seller called "Omega enthusiast" sold another one some months ago for 1,3k€, but with a less appealing (imo) white dial.
I would like to ask 1100€ for this rare and amazing jewel, including EU shipment. Watch is sold head only.
Me and watch are located in Italy, many many references to provide if needed.
Thank you guys, thank you CT.
Matt
