Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. Photos must be of the actual item for sale in its present condition. No counterfeit or replica products. No post for the same item may be repeated within 7 days, except to lower the asking price. Commercial dealers are limited to three unique posts per day. [More...]
Up for sale is a very rare seldom seen JAEGER-LECOULTRE FLYING SAUCER 'Disco Volante' AUTOMATIC WATCH in all stainless steel. It has the shape of a flying saucer and I think this is also a DIVER’s watch. The screw back case is in very good condition with no major wear showing. Case back shows some tool marks but nothing bad. It measures around 40mm in diameter. The all original signed JL crown sits flush on the side of the case. The case back is signed WATERRESISTANT 3ATM STAINLESS STEEL 562-42 and the serial number1322270 on the outside. On the inside is signed LE COULTRE SWISS STAINLESS STEEL. The all original dial is in good condition with some light spotting. All the hands are in very nice condition. Markers and hands have black inlays. The original crystal is scratch free. The JAEGER-LECOULTRE signed automatic movement CAL K883 looks very clean. It is running strongly and is keeping excellent time to within +10 seconds a day. The date changes right on midnight. It comes with the original bracelet signed JL on the clasp in also very good condition but the spring on the clasp is very weak. The bracelet measures 7 ½ inches from end to end. Nothing much else to say except that this is one nice RARE watch. I’m asking $1200 shipped net to me. Thanks.
