For sale is an excellent condition unpolished 40mm stainless steel Tudor Submariner. The 7928 sale is for watch only, does not come with any box or papers. The Sub is a 5 million serial with clear model and serial number stamps between the lugs. The 7928 has just received a complete service, also had a new reverser wheel installed, gaskets replaced and a NOS acrylic crystal installed. The case was not refinished or polished, but the minute hand did have its lume redone/stabilized. The watch looks amazing in the sunlight, but the dial and hands did not show as well in the light box. The lugs are thick, have numerous marks and signs of wear; but they still have lines showing the original chamfers. The bezel has notable wear, all clearly visible in the pictures, and the lume dot at 12 does not glow- and appears to be just the cracked remnants. The crown guards are thick and well-shaped, the case sides and edges are worn, with plenty of wear in line with its over 50 years of wear. Due to its age, it is not recommended to submerge the timepiece, despite new gaskets and passing a pressure test. The watch has been re-shot in natural light and new strap added from previous listing.
