Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. Vintage at its best! The modern day Sixty Five diver's Daddy!
Oris Super diver from the 1960s - the original watch from which Oris' modern Sixty Five diver has its design from.
This watch is, despite its age, in rather fantastic condition! Let the pictures speak for themselves.
In itself, the watch is quite rare to find in good condition. This version, with the silver burst dial, is even rarer.
Lume is naturally faded, but still has glow under the right light-conditions.
The heart beats away and keeps good vintage time! The movements is a 484KIF - previous owner told me that it was serviced in 2018.
Winding the watch, the crown tracks smothely and the gears have a lovely clicking sound - all good!
The lugs have age-wear, giving the watch a gorgeous overall patina.
Watch is located in Denmark. Sold as watch head only.
Pricing is tough, but have been in contact with Oris collectors, collectors and sellers of vintage watches in general.
I have had good and sensible advice - been told that the watch should get between 1200-1400 Euro...
Price: 1400 Euro - trying the high ground at first.
Open for sensible and reasonable offers!
