Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. In addition, we request that sellers linking to online auctions or listings offer some benefit or accomodation to ChronoTrader readers (for example, some discount or an undertaking to end an auction early, to keep a watch "in the family"). Photos must be of the actual item for sale in its present condition. No counterfeit or replica products. No post for the same item may be repeated within 7 days, except to lower the asking price. Commercial dealers are limited to three unique posts per day. [More...]
For sale is a near mint condition 44mm stainless steel Breguet Transatlantique Type XXII 10 Hz. The 3880ST/H2/3XV was originally purchased from an AD in 2013, and is accompanied by its original boxes and papers. The Breguet features a polished steel case, which is accented by a brushed steel 60 minute timer bezel. The Type XXII is mounted on an OEM black calfskin strap that is contrasted by red and white stitching, and secured by an adjustable OEM polished steel deployment buckle. The OEM strap contains some signs of wear, but does not have any stains or overly noticeable signs of wear, and still has the majority of its use life left. The Breguet features a black dial with: painted white Arabic numeral hour markers, polished luminous hands, a 24 hour indicator sub dial at 3 o’clock, a 12 hour main time indicator at 6 o’clock that correlates with the 24 hour indicator, a date window aperture at 6 o’clock, and a seconds sub dial register at 9 o’clock. The movement used in the 3880ST/H2/3XV is the Breguet Calibre 589 F, which beats at a noteworthy 72,000vph equaling 20 beats per second, while maintaining a generous power reserve of 40 hours when fully wound. Overall the Breguet is in near mint condition, with the only imperfection being an extremely faint mark on the edge of the bezel between 2 & 3 o'clock, which is only visible from certain angles.
Shall deliver with a 15 month in house warranty on the movement for $11,800 or best offer.
All timepieces come with a 7 day ‘no questions asked’ return period- will issue 100% refund as long as the timepiece is returned in the same condition in which it was shipped out.
