Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. In addition, we request that sellers linking to online auctions or listings offer some benefit or accomodation to ChronoTrader readers (for example, some discount or an undertaking to end an auction early, to keep a watch "in the family"). Photos must be of the actual item for sale in its present condition. No counterfeit or replica products. No post for the same item may be repeated within 7 days, except to lower the asking price. Commercial dealers are limited to three unique posts per day. [More...]
For sale is an excellent condition 40mm stainless steel and 18 karat yellow gold Rolex GMT Master “Rootbeer”. The 16753 is a 9.8 million serial, circa approximately 1987, and is accompanied by Rolex inner and outer boxes, but no papers. The Rolex features a brushed steel case, which is accented by a bidirectional yellow gold GMT bezel that is set with a brown and champagne colored “Rootbeer” GMT insert. The “Rootbeer” aluminum insert does contain visible signs of wear, with the most noticeable being a deep nick in the 4. The GMT Master is mounted on a two tone Jubilee bracelet with: brushed steel outerlinks, polished yellow gold center links, and is secured by a deployment clasp that is stamped with a “K11” clasp code. The “K11” clasp code correlates to a production date of late 1986. This means the Jubilee bracelet is most likely original to the watch. The Jubilee bracelet contains 20 full size links, will comfortably fit a 7.35 inch wrist, but does contain a noticeable amount of stretch, would rate it 70% plus. The Rolex features chocolate brown dial with applied polished 18 karat yellow gold tritium coated hour markers, polished yellow gold tritium coated hands, and a magnified date window aperture at 3 o’clock. The dial and hands are original and have been well preserved, with the only imperfection being some faint cracks in the lume on the hour hand. The movement used in the 16753 is the Rolex calibre 3075, which features approximately 42 hours of power reserve and was COSC certified. Overall the Rolex is in excellent condition, but does contain some signs of wear that are consistent with the watch’s age and have been noted above.
Shall deliver with a 15 month in house warranty on the movement for $10,450.
All timepieces come with a 7 day ‘no questions asked’ return period- will issue 100% refund as long as the timepiece is returned in the same condition in which it was shipped out.
