FS: Neo-vintage Seiko 4s15 Alpinist SCVF005 “Red Alpinist”

Hi all,

Up for sale is arguably the ultimate modern Alpinist to be owned, in this case a full-box & paper neo-vintage (1995) Seiko Alpinist SCVF005 – nickname “Red Alpinist” with high grade, high beat 28,800 4S15 movement. This is not a recent reissue with the X logo slapped on the middle of the dial with a bigger case. Here’s the details:

1. Case: 37mm case (without crown), 11mm thickness, in stainless steel. The case of this watch is in great shape, very sharp, totally unpolished, normal wear with fine scratches on case and bezel, lugs are very sharp, fitting a size 19mm bracelet/strap. Case back is in great shape with sharp engravement.

2. Dial & hands: all original and in perfect condition. For those who is not familiar with this piece, there are many fine details on the dial, and significantly is the subtle multi-cross lines across the dial through the markers, which only appear at a certain angle when the light hit just right. Lume on dial and hands are all original, and still shine brightly after a short charge.

3. Movement: Cal. 4S15 movement, serviced in early 2019. The watch runs very strong although accuracy is unknown as this is practically unworn during the last 2 years. The movement is a higher grade movement among Seiko watches, with high-beat 28,800 bph.

4. Crown: 2 original crowns, wind & set time as it should, quick-set date function works perfectly. Inner-bezel crown turns the compass bezel smoothly.

5. Glass: replacement crystal looks nice. Original crystal can be found easily online if buyer want, this is the only part of the watch that is replaced, due to the unfavoured date loupe.

6. Bracelet & accessories: original bracelet with full links included. The watch come with original Seiko sport plastic box with full paper, original warranty paper with stamp from Shibuya watch store in Japan.

7. I’m asking US$ 980 net to me including shipping, excluding Paypal fees. Bank transfer to my local Singapore bank account is a preferred option, buyer to cover bank fees.

1. Item will be shipped worldwide via Fedex Int’l Priority Worldwide, insured and shipping charge is covered by me. All import taxes are at buyer's responsibility.
