The famous Seiko Grandfather Tuna. This particular example is produced in May 1975 with the first variant dial, where there is no “m” next to the 600 metres depth rating.
Dial - Immaculate condition with no blemishes whatsoever. Lume patina even and consistent throughout.
Movement - Signature High-Beat movement running well and keeping good time. All functions (i.e. manual winding, quick-set date, hacking seconds) working fine.
Bezel - Turns both directions without any issues. Honest unmolested condition, showing normal signs of wear with scratches. Note scratch on the ‘5’ position. See picture for details
Case and crown - Showing signs of wear from normal use. Edges remain sharp with no signs of any touch-ups.
Comes with a genuine Seiko diving rubber strap as well as an aftermarket vintage steel bracelet.
