FS: Seiko Cronos - Pre 62MAS/Silverwave - ' water 50 proof' - j1 *PIC*

Price: 485€

A stunning example of the technology that Seiko was hunting for in the late 50’s. The watch housing a triple locking caseback and double screwed down balance bridge. All to be able to withstand the high pressure a watch needed to withstand in rough conditions. This example is featured on a original seiko bracelet with diver extension. The dial condition is superb, only the smallest amount of patina is visible.

This IS the base ground for seiko where the hunt to dive watches started, this predates the 62mas and also the Silverwave. You ca see the influence in the screwback case. Unmistakable important in the history of Seiko.

The watch is serviced, runs on a hand wound seiko movement and is sold with an original seiko bracelet.
