Please see our ChronoTrader Policies and Terms of Use. Learn more about How To Include Photos In Your Postings.

Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. FS: Swiss Tropic 20mm bands perforated or big holes NOS items *PIC*

The most difficult size and styles of authentic Swiss signed Tropic dive bands to find for Subs, Sea-Dwellers, GMT-Master, etc. Your choice of black perforated straight ends 20mm Swiss signed Tropic or a big holes 20mm signed Tropic Sport. Pictures are in the Tropic Rubber Straps section at www.Squinky.com

Both styles are new old stock from the 1960s/70s. The same bands the Rolex Authorized Distributor would have put on a Rolex sports watch as an original accessory of that period if the buyer asked for a dive band. These bands take a 16mm size buckle if you have a signed one to substitute. With the premium distinct large Tropic buckle shown.

1) 20MM PERFORATED

Classic basket-weave perforated Tropic. This band is sized to fit many wrists. Length measures a generous 8 1/8 inches long, with the pieces placed end to end (120mm/85mm), not counting the buckle. The sizing holes for the tang run all the way down the middle, so this band will fit many sizes. At the longest, with the strap pieces together and the tang in the last hole, the strap is 7 1/2 inches long and you can size it all the way down to just 5 inches closed. Band is 5mm thick where it meets the watch and 2.6mm thick at the tail end. Nice pliable, soft rubber.

2) 20MM BIG HOLES TROPIC SPORT

Big holes style Tropic. This band is sized to fit many wrists. Length measures 7 ½ inches long, with the pieces placed end to end (115mm/75mm), not counting the buckle. This band will fit many sizes. At the longest, with the strap pieces together and the tang in the last hole, the strap is 6 5/8 inches long and you can size it all the way down to just 5 ¼ inches closed. Band is 4.5mm thick where it meets the watch and 2.4mm thick at the tail end. Nice pliable, soft rubber.

The price is $195 each. Mention OTD to get free First Class shipping in the United States (normally $4.95) or free Registered international shipping (normally $18.95).

I also have many other 18mm, 19mm, 20mm styles and 22mm Tropic type bands with curved or straight ends. Email me at billmahoney@aol.com if you need additional information.

I have many references here. Thanks - Bill Mahoney
