Vintage Bucherer Chronograph Lemania Viggen Ref 817 case. Here you have a stunning example of a civilian version of the Lemania Viggen case from Bucherer. This version actually employs the Lemania 3872 instead of 1872 found in the Viggen which add a very unsusually placed date window at 9pm on the dial. Condition is amazing. This is a manual wind movement Case looks unpolished or barely polished. There are a few scratches on the screw in case back and lugs. Crystal, bezel, dial and hands are all excellent and original. 41mm case makes watch so wearable. Watch is holding time well and all chronograph functions work perfectly and reset to zero. This is an amazing vintage chronograph which wears like the perfect contemporary watch. There are few of these watches around and this configuration more closely matches the Lemania SAAF which was issued to the South African Air Force. While this watch is holding time very well, I don't know when it was last serviced and make no guarantees on accuracy. This is a final sale, so please ask me for any photos or information you need to decide. More photos at IG Chronosandkatanas. The Lemania Viggen's have all sold in the $10k plus range and the Tissot Navigator versions have sold in the $7k range. $4,400 + Shipping. Paypal Accepted. listing is also on ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/333788682869 where you can message me to verify listing since I forgot to tag photo. Thanks
