FOR SALE
Heuer Autavia 741.603 “Shauntavia”
Selling this really nice Autavia - let the pictures do the talking;-)
In 2014 Abel (www.heuertime.com) gave it a movement service.
Movement Valjoux 7741 non-GMT. The 7741 number on the baseplate is milled away. Heuer used GMT 7741 movements and modified them by removing the GMT complication, thereby producing a Valjoux 7740!
These are called "Shauntavia" because our friend Shaun from London was first to recognise these Autavias with Arabic numerals as not being fakes. On Instagram Shaun commented "Wow that is superb. Very, very difficult to find in such good condition."
Most of these are KAF (Kenya Air Force), but this one is civilian.
The watch is in very good condition and came to me July 2013 from a well-respected US collector.
Comes on a Bulang & Son high quality strap with a modern Heuer buckle.
Not many of these come up for sale but I believe that €8000 is an attractive price. Realistic offers are welcome.
Watch is in Denmark.
