For sale is a near mint condition 40mm stainless steel Rolex Explorer II. The 16570 is a U serial, circa approximately 1997, and is fresh from factory service with a two year warranty on the work performed. While at factory service the Rolex received a complete movement overhaul, a polishing of the case, a new crystal, new hands, a new bezel, a new dial, and new bracelet. The 16570 is accompanied by double boxes, a factory service warranty card, and a list of what was performed during the factory service. The Rolex features a brushed steel case, which is accented by a fixed brushed steel GMT bezel that is engraved with black enameled units. The Explorer II is mounted on a brushed steel Oyster bracelet, which is secured by a safety lock deployant clasp. The bracelet contains no stretch, and will comfortably fit a 7.25 inch wrist. The Rolex features a white “Polar” dial with applied luminous hour markers, black luminous hands, and a magnified date window aperture at 3 o’clock. The case presents well after receiving a factory refinish and new bezel. The lugs are decently thick, but have definitely been polished before. The bracelet is brand new, contains no visible stretch, and extremely crispy.
