Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. In addition, we request that sellers linking to online auctions or listings offer some benefit or accomodation to ChronoTrader readers (for example, some discount or an undertaking to end an auction early, to keep a watch "in the family"). Photos must be of the actual item for sale in its present condition. No counterfeit or replica products. No post for the same item may be repeated within 7 days, except to lower the asking price. Commercial dealers are limited to three unique posts per day. [More...]
For sale is a near mint condition 40mm 18 karat yellow gold Rolex Cosmograph Daytona. The Z serial 116518 was originally purchased from an US ORJ in 2010, and is accompanied by its original boxes, papers, and a factory service warranty card from 2011. The Rolex features a polished yellow gold case which is accented by a fixed gold tachymeter bezel that is engraved with black units. The Daytona is mounted on an OEM black alligator strap which is secured by an OEM yellow gold deployant buckle. The OEM strap sits loose on a 7.5 inch wrist, contains minimal signs of wear, and has the majority of its uselife left. The Rolex features a factory black diamond dial with applied factory set single cut diamond hour markers, polished gold hands, and sub dial registers at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock. The movement used in the 116518 is the Rolex calibre 4130, which features approximately 72 hours of power reserve and is COSC certified. The case has been preserved well and is thick and crisp. Valuewise, the 116518 is an excellent buy, as precious metal pre-ceramic bezel Daytonas on straps are seldom seen. However the ceramic bezel strap and Oysterflex Daytonas are much more expensive, and not nearly as rare as the non-ceramic precious metal on strap Daytonas.
Shall deliver with a 15 month in house warranty on the movement for $23,900 plus state tax where applicable.
