Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. In addition, we request that sellers linking to online auctions or listings offer some benefit or accomodation to ChronoTrader readers (for example, some discount or an undertaking to end an auction early, to keep a watch "in the family"). Photos must be of the actual item for sale in its present condition. No counterfeit or replica products. No post for the same item may be repeated within 7 days, except to lower the asking price. Commercial dealers are limited to three unique posts per day. [More...]
A wonderful Yema Yachtingraf that’s clearly had a quiet life and remains in superb condition throughout, also comes complete with original box, sleeve, strap and even the original springbars. These custom springbars are oversized so that when fitted they fill up the clearance hole drilled through the lugs, thus giving a more pleasing and complete surface to the outer lug.
This execution with a straight lug case and Bakelite bezel insert is the much less seen variant of the popular Yema Yachtingraf, a type so rarely seen that many don’t know of their existence. Here’s an in depth article discussing the exact reference:
There’s also more info here, although more it’s a more generalised Yachtingraf article and slightly less reliable:

The watch is powered by a very clean and unmolested Valjoux 7733 movement that keeps great time and all of the chronograph functions are in full working order. Service history is unknown but I had my watchmaker put it on the timegrapher and the amplitude is very strong (see photo).
The bezel rotates with the perfect amount of resistance. About the only faults I can see are some slight markings on the (presumed) original crystal, and the running seconds hand looks to have taken on an ever so slightly creamy colour. Everything else on the dial side is spotless with bright, puffy lume and even dial paint. Note also the correct chronograph sweep hand with a smaller open arrow head than more standard Yachtingraf executions.
Asking price is £2650 + shipping. Watch is currently in the U.K.
Any questions or offers please email and I’m very happy to help.
More photos of this watch are available on request, plus it appears many times on my Instagram feed @the_second_hand_
