For sale is a Vintage Enicar Sherpa Guide 600, Mark IVA, Ref. 166.35.04. This is an honest vintage tool watch in original and overall good condition.

Crystal: Plexy crystal in very good condition (will be polished by my watchmaker)
Dial: the original matt dial is in very good condition. The lume dots are intact. The lume glows when activated with UV light, and then fades off. Upon close inspection by loupe, you can notice some surface oxidation on the indexes.
Hands: Original hand set. The hour hand shows some lume loss and the second hand some paint loss on the tip of the hand. The chequered GMT hand shows minor paint loss. The lume glows when activated with UV light, and then fades off.
Inner rotating Bezel: the inner bezel rotates smoothly when operated by the crown at 2 o’clock. Upon close inspection , one notice some staining in parts of the bezel, especially between 18 – 24 and 24 to 6.
Outer rotating Bezel: Aluminium bezel in good condition. The orange triangle has been repainted. The bezel has no major scratches, but a ding between 4 and 5 o’clock (near Tokyo) . The outer edge of the bezel shows some abrasion.
Crowns: original signed crowns
Case: 43 mm stainless steel case in good condition, showing signs of use consistent with the age of the watch. The case appears unpolished.
Caseback: original sigend stainless steel caseback with Sherpa 600 logo. Besides smaller surface scratches, there is a noticeable scratch across the caseback.
Movement: Cal. AR 166 movement in full working condition.
Bracelet: vintage stainless steel bracelet with some some stretch and signs of use consistent with the age. Signed Enicar folding clasp.
Accessories: none
Warranty: We guarantee the authenticity of the watch. We also provide 6 months guarantee for the correct function of this vintage timepiece.
