For sale is a near mint 40mm stainless steel Rolex GMT Master II circa 1990. The 16710 comes with box, service warranty card, service papers, and Rolex travel pouch. The GMT features a black dial with white gold surround indices, date aperture at the 3 o’clock position and bidirectional bezel with red/black “coke” insert. The watch was recently serviced by Rolex in March 2021 in which it underwent a full service and polish. The crown, crystal, bezel insert, clasp, and extension link were replaced during the service. The case shows virtually no signs of wear except for the feintest of scratches on the right side near the bottom lug hole. The lugs themselves are even with sharp chamfers. The Coke comes on a stainless steel oyster bracelet with very little stretch and 9 full links. As is, the bracelet will easily accommodate a 7.25 in wrist. The watch is powered by a Rolex caliber 3185 with a 50 hour power reserve. Overall this an attractive example of a coke GMT Master II that presents itself well and is ready for decades of service.
