: Ultra rare Zenith A. Cairelli from the 1960s. Zenith delivered 2500
: copies for the Roman jeweler Cairelli, around 2000 went to the
: Italian military, around 500 to civilian customers (see history)
: Cairelli supplied wristwatches, on-board clocks and other

: and clocks with its own name. The design of the Cronometro TIPO
: CP-2 was not created by Zenith, but followed the very detailed
: catalog of requirements of the military. A total of around 2,500
: watches were made, but not all of them were delivered to the
: military. Cairelli held back about 500 watches as a reserve and
: for replacement deliveries, which he later sold civilly. The
: Zenith caliber 146 DP used here is Zenith's first proprietary
: chronograph caliber based on the Martel caliber 749. It is known
: for its outstanding reliability and precision.
: This model has gone to the civilian sector. Tritium is solid, the
: dial is in sensational condition, the case is great, the
: movement did not need any service after its last inspection in
: November 2020.
