For sale is a pre-owned near mint condition 40mm 18 karat yellow gold and stainless steel Rolex Submariner. The 16613 is a rehaut engraved V serial, circa approximately 2008, and is fresh from factory service with a 2 year warranty on the work performed. While at factory service the Rolex received a complete movement disassembly and overhaul, a polishing of the case, and a new bezel insert. The Submariner sale includes an inner and outer box, a factory service warranty card, and factory service papers which outline what was done at the factory service. The Rolex features a brushed steel case that is accented by a unidirectional yellow gold divers bezel, which is set with a blue diver insert. The Submariner is mounted on a steel and gold 93253 Oyster bracelet, which is secured by a safety lock deployant clasp. The bracelet contains 11 full size links plus two additional divers extension links, and sits loose on a 7.5 inch wrist. The Oyster bracelet is stamped with a “PJ11” clasp code, which correlates with a November 2008 production date, meaning that the bracelet is original to the watch. The Rolex features a champagne factory set “Serti” diamond and sapphire dial with applied factory set diamond and sapphire hour markers, polished gold luminous hands, and a magnified date window aperture at 3 o’clock. The movement used in the 16613 is the Rolex calibre 3135 which features approximately 48 hours of power reserve, and is COSC certified. The case contains no signs of previous wear and presents well after receiving a refinish at factory service. The lugs are even and thick with nice chamfer lines. The Oyster bracelet contains virtually no stretch, while the cornett on the clasp is extremely thick and crisp. Overall the Sub is in near mint condition, and is a pristine example of a late rehaut engraved 16613 with a factory serti diamond dial.
