For sale is a pre-owned near mint condition 40mm stainless steel and 18 karat yellow gold Rolex GMT Master II. The N-Serial (1991) 16713 includes box and factory service papers. The watch was recently serviced by Rolex in June 2021 where it received a movement overhaul, bezel, bezel insert, crown, hands, crystal, and polish. The GMT Master II features a brown soleil dial with applied tritium indices, date aperture at three o’clock, and bi-directional GMT bezel. The dial is a lovely shade of brown with copper-like undertones and remains in near mint condition, which compliments the bi-color “Root Beer” bezel insert. The previously polished case is free of any discernable imperfections and is mounted to a stainless steel and 18 karat yellow gold bezel. The bracelet, dated 1993 (R code), is slightly newer than the watch and is in near mint condition with minimal stretch at approximately 85%. As sized, the watch will accommodate a 7-inch wrist. The 16713 is powered by a Rolex caliber 3185 self-winding movement with an approximate power reserve of 50-hours. The five-digit Rolex references, such as this one represents a perfect balance between old-school and modern, providing better reliability and convenience, while retaining a vintage charm.
