The 176.8.40.5 was originally purchased from an AD in 2018, and received a factory service in February 2021 which includes a two year warranty on the work performed. The JLC is accompanied by its original boxes, papers, and factory service records. The JLC features a polished steel case, which is accented by a fixed smooth steel bezel. The Master Control is mounted on an OEM matte black alligator strap, which is secured by an adjustable OEM polished steel butterfly deployant clasp. The OEM strap appears to be unworn with minimal creasing, and still has the majority of its use life left. The JLC features a silver sunburst dial with applied polished hour markers, polished hands, and a date window aperture at 3 o’clock. The movement used in the Q1548420 is the JLC Calibre 899/1, which features approximately 38 hours of power reserve, and is proudly displayed through an exhibition case back. Overall the Master Control is in near mint condition, and contains virtually no signs of previous wear.
