The Zenith offered here is part of my military chrono collection. It is one of the very few still remaining. As I run the database of these Zenith's that were supplied to the Yugoslav military air force I can tell you that this is the only one that has developed a "tropical" patina on the dial. many of the 41 in my database have damaged or even changed dials. Few are in untouched conditions. This makes the Zenith offered here extremely rare.
Selling only because I have 3 in the collection and 2 of these I received from the pilots and/or their families - they have traceable provenance.
Dial: the dial is original. Tropical. Please refer to the photos.
Case: The stainless steel case is in very good condition. Please refer to the photos.
Caseback: Original. Correct markings and serial range for the YU-avi. Very nice.
Bracelet: Aftermarket leather strap to match the dial.
Additional: The watch currently runs and it was fully serviced about 5 years ago. Still, I give no guarantee on accuracy. To prevent potential comments unfit for vintage watches.
No other accessories are included.
Asking 3.000 EUR by wire (PayPal is NOT accepted unless Friend and Family is used) shipped and insured within EUROPEAN UNION. International shipping is available at an additional cost. The watch can be picked up in person or I can have the watch delivered to the watch fair in Munich if a deposit of 10% is wired. I'm a watch collector and not a dealer. Returns are only accepted within 3 days of receipt of the item if it is not as described and is returned in the same exact condition as it was originally sold. PHOTOS ARE PART OF THE DESCRIPTION. Refunds will be considered upon a full inspection and will amount to the purchase price minus shipping and handling costs. The buyer is responsible for the return postage, insurance, and safe delivery of the watch back to me. Due to the complexity of shipping to the EU from abroad, all international sales are final.
