For sale is a 1960’s Croton (Nivada) Chronomaster Aviator Sea Diver with Landeron 248 movement. The watch is in very good vintage condition. While the case clearly shows signs of use, the dial, hands and bezel are remarkably well preserved.

DIAL+HANDS: excellent black dial, the tritium lume on hands and markers has aged to a beautifully. The lume markers are all intact. The hands are virtually perfect condition. When activated with UV light, the lume on hands and markers glows briefly.
There is very small lume residue on the watch dial close to 2 o’clock (near 400 – 500 on the tachymeter scale)
BEZEL: Bezel rotates smoothly. The bezel insert has only minor surface scratches, please refer to the high-resolution pictures.
CRYSTAL: Plexy crystal wit a few surface scratches and swirls. Will be polished by the watchmaker.
CASE: 38 mm stainless steel case with signs of use / scratches consistent with the age of the watch. The case appears unpolished.
CASEBACK: stainless steel factory engraved caseback with signs of use and scratches. The Serial number 9584 engraving is still well defined.
MOVEMENT and FUNCTION: very clean Landeron 248 movement in fully functional condition. The watch wind and runs fine. The chronograph starts stops and resets in 12 o’clock position.
CROWN & PUSHERS: Original crown and pushers.
BRACELET / STRAP: The watch comes on new brown leather strap with quick release spring bars.
ACCESSORIES: None:
Dial, caseback and movement signed. The watch is in overall good pre-owned condition and is fully functional.
The price is 2,330 (Swiss Franc) CHF or OBRO plus shipping at actual cost. Low ball offers will be politely ignored. The watch can also be sold through Chrono24, which provides a safe Escrow service. Watch and I are in Switzerland.
