Speedy for sale
AD
Hi all,
For sale I have my Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch
3592.50 Apollo XI (ST 345.0808) with Cal. 863.
Hesalite Crystal / Sapphire Caseback / Gilt 863 Movement
O£2.9k. UK preferred, but will consider international.
I’ve owned this beautiful example since late 2015. I had it serviced by Duncan at Genesis Watchmakers several years ago.
It is running perfectly, and keeps superb time.
This is the Apollo XI special edition, which were produced between ’89 to ’95.
There is a nice write up about these models on Fratello..

.Fratello says “Buy one while you still can”
If you want a Speedy, this is the model to have. They are becoming hard to find, and are appreciating in value. I don’t really want to sell it, but needs must!
The 3592.50 is the predecessor of the 3572.50 and has a hesalite crystal and sapphire display back. The movement is the cal. 863 which is an 861 with metal brake rather than delrin plus an extra jewel. The movement is yellow gilt and decorated with "Geneva waves".
It is in exceptional condition, unpolished, and simply beautiful.
When it was serviced it had a new hesalite crystal fitted and a new crown, this is standard Omega servicing practice, to ensure proper waterproofness.
The tritium markers are a beautiful mid cream colour, and the inky black dial is flawless. All original hands and tritium.
It comes on an Omega stainless bracelet - it’s a Ref.1171/1/633 bracelet, which really looks stunning. It’s comes with spare links. There are a few hairline marks on the brushed clasp, but you could re-brush them out, but I’ve left it all original.
