Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. In addition, we request that sellers linking to online auctions or listings offer some benefit or accomodation to ChronoTrader readers (for example, some discount or an undertaking to end an auction early, to keep a watch "in the family"). Photos must be of the actual item for sale in its present condition. No counterfeit or replica products. No post for the same item may be repeated within 7 days, except to lower the asking price. Commercial dealers are limited to three unique posts per day. [More...]
1982 Rolex Datejust Ref 16030 Ghost Dial, Open 6/9, 62510H/55 Bracelet
CASE: 36mm steel case (without signed screw-down crown) has evidence of wear but doesn't seem to me too terrible. Pictures are full description. Brushing's evident on top, polished sides, no disastrous entry attempts on the caseback. Top left lug looks like it got bumped in a doorway and has a slightly different shape, which you can only really see on the back. Bracelet's in good shape, with an E date code.
DIAL+HANDS: Perfect, all original. The gray dial with white text is just stunning. See pictures for further details. Date wheel has the correct open 6/9s.
MVMT: I opened this at the watch shop but forgot to take pictures. The 3035 is running great, keeping accurate time, and the date flips as it should. It's a really, really excellent watch, I'm just still not a Rolex guy.
Price is $4500. Happy to provide as many references as requested, and to work out shipping and payment method with the buyer. The watch+I are in Indiana/USA. Thanks for looking, and thanks to Jeff/CT for the space+community.
