ChronoScope Collector Watches presents a vintage Omega Memomatic ref. 166.071 in from 1971 in excellent condition, with original guarantee papers.
The highlight of this rather rare 1970’s alarm watch is all original and attractive grey and black dial with orange hands in perfect condition. The original warranty papers from December 1971 make it a true collector’s piece.
CONDITION REPORT

MODEL / REFERENCE: Omega Memomatic ref. 166.071, serial no 30014478
DIAL+HANDS: the dial is in virtually perfect condition; we could not find a single flaw. All printing is crisp. The date wheel is clean. The tritium lume markers are fully intact and in perfect condition. The hour and minute hands retain the original tritium lume. When activated with UV light, the tritium on the indexes and hands glows briefly and then fades off.
The lume on the indexes and hands has developed a pleasant patina.
CRYSTAL: Original Omega signed plexy crystal in very good condition with only very minor surface scratches
MOVEMENT/FUNCTION: Omega Cal. 980 automatic alarm movement in clean and fully functional condition. The alarm hands set correctly, and the alarm can be activated and sounds clear.
CASE: 40 mm stainless steel case in good and unpolished condition, retaining the original factory finish. The case shows signs of use consistent with the age of the watch. Lug to lug, it measures 50 mm, thickness approx. 14 mm.
CASEBACK: Omega signed caseback in excellent condition displaying the Seahorse logo.
CROWN/PUSHERS: original Omega signed crown and unsigned pusher
BRACELET / STRAP: The watch comes on a matching grey and black NATO strap.
ACCESSORIES: Original warranty document from December 1971, Omega service pouch.
The price is 2,850 CHF (Swiss Franc) or best reasonable offer plus shipping at actual cost. Low ball offers will be politely ignored.
