The 26003BC.OO.D002.CR is an F serial, circa 2006, and is fresh from factory service with a two-year international warranty on the work performed. While at factory service the AP received: a complete movement overhaul, a refinishing of the case and buckle, a new OEM XL black alligator strap, and a new OEM regular sized black alligator strap. The Equation of Time is accompanied by its original inner and outer large sized watch winder boxes, an international factory service guarantee card, a serialized hang tag, an instruction manual, papers detailing the work performed at service, and an extra unworn XL OEM black alligator strap. The AP features a brushed white gold case, which is accented by a fixed polished smooth white gold bezel. The Equation of Time is mounted on an unworn OEM black alligator strap, which is secured by an adjustable OEM polished white gold deployment buckle. The AP features a silver dial with a centralized guilloche pattern, applied polished white gold Roman numerals, and polished white gold hands. The dial also features a sunrise indicator sub dial at 3 o’clock, a date and weekday indicator sub dial at 6 o’clock, a sunset indicator sub dial at 9 o’clock, and month sub dial at 12 o’clock with a centralized moon phase display. The movement used in the 26003BC.OO.D002.CR is the Audemars Piguet Caliber 2120/2808, which features a power reserve of approximately 40 hours, and is proudly displayed through a transparent exhibition case back. A unique aspect of the 2120/2808 is that it is able to calculate the deviation between civil time and mean solar time for New York, hence the name “Equation of Time”. When new, the 26003BC.OO.D002.CR had a retail price of $84,000 and was produced in extremely limited quantities. Overall, the AP is in mint condition, and contains no visible imperfections to the naked eye, and is under factory warranty until September 2024.
