Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. Photos must be of the actual item for sale in its present condition. No counterfeit or replica products. No post for the same item may be repeated within 7 days, except to lower the asking price. Commercial dealers are limited to three unique posts per day. [More...]
Up for sale is a very rare Longines from the 90s, and believed to be issued for the Japanese market only. In fact I bought this watch from Japan in 2019.
The inside case back read ref. 3474 - 831 with S/N 2566XXXX. The watch is in 34mm steel case, with double lugs and a round onion crown, snapped caseback. The case is the most striking trait on this watch imo. The top lugs are fully polished while the mid-case is in brushed steel. The dial is in light off-white color with very fine vertical brushed finishing, in contrast with the shiny/circular texture sub-second hand dial that DOES NOT OBSTRACT number 6. This is the 2nd most favourite trait of this watch to me. The hands are leaf-shape, the crown is in its beautiful onion shape.
In all, this is a perfect dress watch, one of the most beautiful I have ever own, plus it is so rare you probably won't find the 2nd one on the internet. The watch has a 520 manual winding movement, has been serviced in 2019 when I bought it, runs well & keep good time, though accuracy is unknown.
I'm asking for $1100 shipped WW by FedEx. Here are the pictures:
