FS: Tudor 9411/0 blue snowflake (birthday watch)

Dear All

For sale is this 100% authentic Tudor Submariner from 1973 with blue dial and date window.

This 50 year old diver has all the characteristics of a true classic and the serial number indicates that it is part of the first run in 1973.

Case: previously polished yet remains uniformly symmetric and crown guard is strong.

Crown: original 24-700 crown with fat tube. overall used condition

Bezel: original bezel and even more importantly, all original blue insert. The insert is faded to an even grayish/bluish tone.

Dial: original blue Submariner dial. the dial, as many of this generation, was subject to a transformation process of the once even surface. It now shows the typical and desired
ocean ground surface with Riggs and bumps. Most importantly the surface remains as one: no cracks, no missing indices. Only imperfection is at the A and T of Oysterdate - please refer to attached pictures. All indices are intact, showing a ochre tone, corresponding to the condition of the dial surface.

Hands: hands are a later Tritium replacement showing an overall lighter vanilla than the indices.

Movement: Tudor hacking ETA-based 2784, Movement is running strong and holds good time. Service history unknown.

Caseback: original Rolex manufactured and engraved case back. Original owner has had his name and year engraved. (Yves Lebel - 1973) It didn't bother me - so I let it be.
