Greetings all,
I've decided to finally part with my Lip "Paul Newman" chronograph from the 1970s. It needs no introduction or explanation — these watches are fitted with dials out of the Singer factory that produced the most famous watch dial in history.
I purchased this example about ten years ago. It's visually stunning and perfect in almost every way. There are small watchmaker tools in one concentrated area of the dial, presumably when it was first installed.
I hate to sell this watch but my wife and I are expecting our first child in a matter of weeks and it's time to clear away things I don't wear and free up some cash. Price is $4000 OBO for this beautiful example.
See photos below and feel free to ask for any more you'd like to see.
Payment via Paypal family/friends or otherwise with +3%. I've got plenty of references in the vintage watch community and have been selling watches on and off on this forum for 14 years.
Shipping free within the US via insured Priority Mail. International shipping split 50/50 between me and the buyer.
Thanks all, and thanks OTD for this space.
