Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. In addition, we request that sellers linking to online auctions or listings offer some benefit or accomodation to ChronoTrader readers (for example, some discount or an undertaking to end an auction early, to keep a watch "in the family"). Photos must be of the actual item for sale in its present condition. No counterfeit or replica products. No post for the same item may be repeated within 7 days, except to lower the asking price. Commercial dealers are limited to three unique posts per day. [More...]
I’m offering for sale this ready-to-go vintage beauty made in the 1970s by the German (Pforzheim) brand Preziosa. It's an unusually XL-sized chronograph with numerous color accents on its silver dial.
Details:
► Very well preserved (unpolished) and extra-large, yet surprisingly flat, brushed, cushion-shaped all stainless steel case with sharp edges
► Silver dial with sunburst finish, black subdials, red color accents and tachymeter and pulsimeter scale (with the latter glowing strongly under UV light, cf. the last pic below with the UV flashlight pointing from the 6 o'clock position), luminous material completely intact, rehaut partially printed
► Blue chronograph second and minute hands, yellow permanent second hand
► Swiss workhorse hand-wound movement Valjoux 7733 (service history unknown), starts immediately when wound and keeps time with a deviation of approx. 15s/d
► Scratch-free acrylic crystal
► 2 straps: blue camouflage Nato strap matching the hands and tachymeter scale for a hip summer look plus a neutral black leather strap (barely worn and clean) as a classic alternative
Dimensions:
► Diameter: approx. 41mm without crown/pusher
► Lug-to-lug: approx. 42mm
► Height: approx. 12mm
► Lug width: 20mm
Price: For this vintage gem I am asking EUR 330,- plus international insured shipping according to destination.
And now for the pictures:
The watch is located in Austria (EU) and so am I. I do have plenty of international references from various watch enthusiasts (also known here), so please feel free to ask for them.
Just for the records: I am a private collector and, therefore, the watch comes without any personal guarantee given by me. Nevertheless, I am offering to give a full refund less fully insured shipping expenses in case the piece sold would not be as described by me (within an inspection period of three days and to buyers from within the EU only due to the complex customs procedure in case of an overseas deal).
Thanks for reading and thanks to the Chronotrader platform and ist host!
Kind regards,
F.Antl
