FS: Omega W.W.W. "Dirty Dozen" British Army Wristwatch c.1945 *LINK*

Dear All

For sale is this Omega W.W.W. "Dirty Dozen" British Army Wristwatch c.1945

As many of you may know these watches began being manufactured and issued to the British Army in early 1945. There were 12 Swiss manufacturers of the W.W.W. watches and as such, the collection is commonly referred to by collectors and dealers alike as “The Dirty Dozen”. Only around 25,000 Omega W.W.W. watches were made for the British Army during WW2.

The Omega W.W.W. is in excellent overall condition having been recently serviced by our highly skilled and experienced horologist.

The dial is in lovely overall condition.

The sword hands, seconds hand and crown are all correct to the original specification of the watch.

As expected, there are several minor scratches and marks on the outer casing of the watch.

The Omega 30T2 calibre movement is in good condition and is running well and keeping good time.

The watch diameter is 35mm.

Please see photos below:

The watch is listed for sale on our website priced at £3,995, which includes a free six-month warranty and a newly fitted NATO strap.
