I am offering for sale this wonderful vintage Seiko model from October 1972, built for the Japanese domestic market (JDM = Japan domestic market) and in very good condition, with a practical mechanical alarm function.
Details:
► Case design according to Seiko's aesthetic ‘Grammar of Design’ signature with flat and geometrically clearly contoured polished surfaces
► Flawless silver dial with sunburst finish, bevelled and polished indices on all sides
► Seiko automatic movement 4006 with 27 jewels fitted (made only for the Japanese domestic market) and separate (hand-wound) mainspring barrel for the alarm function, starts and runs immediately and keeps the time with a deviation of less than 10s/d; date function and quickset function work flawlessly
► Alarm mechanism fully functional and precise
► Freshly polished original acrylic crystal
► High-quality original stainless steel bracelet (with slight traces of corrosion) with matching end links, sufficient for approx. 18cm arm circumference + extension piece (>1.5cm)
► Additionally, a dark blue calfskin strap in ostrich look with vintage-style tapering
Dimensions:
► Diameter: approx. 37mm without crown
► Lug-to-lug: approx. 43mm
► Height: approx. 12.5mm
► Lug width: 19mm
Price:
For this nice Bell-Matic, instantly ready-to-wear, I am asking EUR 420,- plus international insured shipping according to destination.
And now for the pictures:
The watch is located in Austria (EU) and so am I. I do have plenty of international references from various watch enthusiasts (also known here), so please feel free to ask for them.
Just for the records: I am a private collector and, therefore, the watch comes without any personal guarantee given by me. Nevertheless, I am offering to give a full refund less fully insured shipping expenses in case the piece sold would not be as described by me (within an inspection period of three days and to buyers from within the EU only due to the complex customs procedure in case of an overseas deal).
Thanks for reading and thanks to the Chronotrader platform and its host!
Kind regards,
F.Antl
