For sale is this NOS vintage sailing chronograph, CHRONOSPORT CHRONOSAIL. This watch is the successor to the popular Memosail with the Valjoux movement. Well the Chronosail is much nicer and comes with a superior Caliber 5270 Lemania movement. The chronograph counts down the last 10 minutes before the start of the race. As soon as the start button is pressed, the orange hand starts to count down 10 minutes, while the white hand counts the elapsed minutes. At the start of the race the orange hand shows zero time left, while the white hand shows 10 elapsed minutes. A second push of the start button freezes both chronograph hands. A push of the reset button resets both chronograph hands. The watch is New Old Stock with box and papers, never been worn or used, in immaculate cosmetic and mechanical condition. It keeps very good time for an automatic. Swiss made. Specifications: Diameter 36 mm without crown; Blue sharkskin strap with original stainless buckle; Automatic Caliber 5270 Lemania movement with date. The backplate is engraved "All stainless steel - Swiss Made - 10 Atm" and the serial number. Dispatch will be with a traceable method and insurance.
