Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. In addition, we request that sellers linking to online auctions or listings offer some benefit or accomodation to ChronoTrader readers (for example, some discount or an undertaking to end an auction early, to keep a watch "in the family"). Photos must be of the actual item for sale in its present condition. No counterfeit or replica products. No post for the same item may be repeated within 7 days, except to lower the asking price. Commercial dealers are limited to three unique posts per day. [More...]
I am offering for sale a nice vintage diver’s watch in excellent condition. It features the so-called “Super-Submarino” case, a design used by numerous manufacturers since the late 1960s. This particular example bears the royal brand name “Prinz” as well as a crown logo on its glossy black dial and is ready to wear.
Details:
► Super Submarino stainless steel case (originally 20 ATM) with characteristic bevelled edges, in very good, unpolished condition featuring the original surface finish (front and sides brushed, bevels polished)
► Clean glossy black dial with applied indices at 6, 9, and 12 o’clock and fully preserved Tritium lume aged to a beautiful vanilla colour
► Original handset typical of these models, highly legible, also with fully preserved luminous material
► Smoothly bi-directionally rotating bezel with minimal signs of wear (one notable scratch close to the 28-minute mark)
► Non-screw-down crown
► Case back with clearly legible engravings
► Acrylic crystal with few signs of wear (can be polished if necessary)
► Automatic movement with red date display, freshly serviced a few weeks ago; starts and runs immediately and keeps good time; the date mechanism also works flawlessly
► Mounted on a stainless steel bracelet in a bead-of-rice design from renowned Japanese manufacturer Maruman, suitable for wrist circumferences up to approx. 19 cm
Dimensions:
► Diameter: approx. 38mm without crown
► Lug-to-lug: approx. 48mm
► Height: approx. 13mm
► Lug width: 19mm
Price:
I am asking EUR 340,- plus international insured shipping according to destination.
And now for the pictures:
The watch is located in Austria (EU) and so am I. I do have plenty of international references from various watch enthusiasts (also known here), so please feel free to ask for them.
Just for the records: I am a private collector and, therefore, the watch comes without any personal guarantee given by me. Nevertheless, I am offering to give a full refund less fully insured shipping expenses in case the piece sold would not be as described by me (within an inspection period of three days and to buyers from within the EU only due to the complex customs procedure in case of an overseas deal).
Thanks for reading and thanks to the Chronotrader platform and its host!
Kind regards,
F.Antl
