FS: 1970s Vintage Technos Dragon Signal with flashing red dot

I am offering for sale this beautiful vintage Technos watch from the 1970s. The brand’s origins date back to 1900 in Switzerland. This ‘Dragon Signal’ model features a fascinating green dial with a colour gradient, as well as an unusual complication whereby a red dot flashes mechanically(!) above the 6 o’clock position every second whenever the second hand glides past an hour marker.

Details:
► Tonneau-shaped stainless steel case in very good condition, featuring a combination of brushed and polished surface finishes, with some age-appropriate signs of wear yet no major damage (the most noteworthy thing is a tiny cut near the stepped bezel close to minute 23)
► Spectacular gradient green dial in top condition with applied logo, revealing different effects depending on the light and viewing angle
► Dial aperture above the 6 o’clock position, through which a bright red ‘flashlight’ shows up every second (mechanically triggered by a rotating propeller coupled to the movement)
► Original handset and signed pull-push crown
► Screw-down case back featuring a beautiful Technos emblem in the centre and clearly legible engravings
► Brand-new mineral crystal, recently fitted
► Swiss automatic movement AS 2063, serviced just a few weeks ago; runs smoothly and keeps time with a (recorded) deviation of less than 10 seconds per day; date change and quick-set date function work flawlessly
► Fitted with the original stainless steel strap with a signed clasp (which shows only a few signs of wear on its sides), of sufficient length even for larger wrists over 20cm in diameter, and supplied in a soft travel case

Dimensions:
► Diameter: approx. 35mm excluding the crown
► Lug-to-lug: approx. 40mm
► Height: approx. 11mm
► Lug width: 18mm

Price:
I am asking EUR 320,- plus international insured shipping according to destination.

Pictures:

The watch is located in Austria (EU) and so am I. I do have plenty of international references from various watch enthusiasts (also known here), so please feel free to ask for them.

Just for the records: I am a private collector and, therefore, the watch comes without any personal guarantee given by me. Nevertheless, I am offering to give a full refund less fully insured shipping expenses in case the piece sold would not be as described by me (within an inspection period of three days and to buyers from within the EU only due to the complex customs procedure in case of an overseas deal).

Thanks for reading and thanks to the Chronotrader platform and its host!

Kind regards,
F.Antl
