I am offering for sale a beautiful Seiko Regatta/Yachting quartz chronograph (ref. 6M37-6010) from June 1996 in exceptionally good condition and successfully tested for all functions. This particular model is the relatively rare stainless steel version without any gold accents on its original stainless steel bracelet. At almost 30 years of age and just at the brink of becoming part of the ‘vintage’ category, this highly functional tool watch is, among other things, ideal as a birth year gift.
Details:
► Distinctive stainless steel case with rotating bezel (the bezel’s rotation requires some effort) in perfect condition and, of course, with its original surface finish
► Dark blue sunburst dial with subsidiary dials and coloured markings; luminous material fully intact
► Original handset, also with luminous material fully intact
► Non-screw-down crown, used to select the various functions: preset regatta/countdown timers for 5, 10 or 15 minutes (with an subsequent chronograph option), a freely adjustable timer (up to 24 hours), the chronograph, precise hand alignment (e.g. after changing the battery) and, of course, the classic time display
► Case back with wave emblem and clearly legible engravings
► Freshly replaced mineral crystal
► Reliable 6M37 quartz movement, tested for all functions (including acoustic and demo functions), featuring various regatta timers making use of the prominently positioned dial apertures (filling them with different colours) and an analogue 1/20s stopwatch (values can be read from the rehaut’s 0.05s scale); a user manual in digital format can be provided for the numerous functions
► Fitted with the signed original stainless steel bracelet, suitable for a wrist circumference of at least 20cm
Dimensions:
► Diameter: approx. 43mm without crown (45mm with crown)
► Lug-to-lug: approx. 47mm
► Height: approx. 11mm
► Lug width: 18mm
Price:
I am asking EUR 420,- plus international insured shipping according to destination.
And now for the pictures:
The watch is located in Austria (EU) and so am I. I do have plenty of international references from various watch enthusiasts (also known here), so please feel free to ask for them.
Just for the records: I am a private collector and, therefore, the watch comes without any personal guarantee given by me. Nevertheless, I am offering to give a full refund less fully insured shipping expenses in case the piece sold would not be as described by me (within an inspection period of three days and to buyers from within the EU only due to the complex customs procedure in case of an overseas deal).
Thanks for reading and thanks to the Chronotrader platform and its host!
Kind regards,
F.Antl
