FS: Seiko Talkstation talking desk clock, NOS, full set

I am offering for sale an extraordinary piece of contemporary history for Seiko collectors: A Seiko Talkstation desk clock as a full set in NOS condition (reference no. DA603G).
This rarity from the 1990s is the ultimate desk gadget for the ambitious Seiko collector or fan of the 1990s. The ‘Talkstation’ announces the time with a robot-like voice at the touch of a button and features an alarm function. What makes this example special is that it is a fully functional model in NOS condition (‘new old stock’) in its original packaging, complete with instruction booklet and warranty certificate – in short, a full set. With its minimalist design, the Talkstation isn’t just a real eye-catcher, but also a mood-lifter that can practically conjure up a smile at the touch of a button.

Details:
► Matte plastic casing in a modern-looking trapezoidal prism shape with glossy function buttons showing no signs of wear
► Maximum glamour factor thanks to its golden colour (rumour has it that a US President is keen to get his hands on this table clock 😉)
► Controls, LED display, volume control and battery compartment discreetly positioned on the underside
► Functions: time display, time announcement, alarm clock
► Voice announcement of the current time in Japanese; sounds nicely metallic/robotic – very early 90s
► Original box with viewing window in very good condition
► User manual (Japanese/English) and warranty certificate
► Runs on 2 AA batteries (already included)
► Function successfully tested (see photo)
► Dimensions: approx. 11.5 x 8 x 8 cm; see also the ruler in the photos for additional reference

Price:
I am asking EUR 160,- plus international insured shipping according to destination.

And now for the pictures:

The desk clock is located in Austria (EU) and so am I. I do have plenty of international references from various watch enthusiasts (also known here), so please feel free to ask for them.

Just for the records: I am a private collector and, therefore, the watch comes without any personal guarantee given by me. Nevertheless, I am offering to give a full refund less fully insured shipping expenses in case the piece sold would not be as described by me (within an inspection period of three days and to buyers from within the EU only due to the complex customs procedure in case of an overseas deal).

Thanks for reading and thanks to the Chronotrader platform and its host!

Kind regards,
F.Antl
