Dear All,
Another watch from my collection up for your consideration: A vintage Tissot PRS 516 Chronograph powered by a Lemania movement As mentioned in the title, it is a project watch, which I just can’t find the time to complete (and I already own several of these beauties. This watch is the ancestor of the newly released Tissot PRS 516 Valjoux Chrono (not on steroids, though).
To the details: Well, the watch is running. Case has some scratches and the chrono pushers are missing. Glass is scratched as well. The dial is however in good condition – as well as the bezel (which is rare, usually the bezel on this model cracked and the ones offered come usually with wrong bezels). GOOD News: watch will come with a replacement case with chrono pushers. The case is in good nick and any talented watchmaker should be in a position to change the case. I will further include a NOS Tissot racing strap from the 70ies (a bit short in my view) and a stainless steel bracelet with matching endpieces (need some fitting, though).
Further, the watch will come with the original papers from the 7Oies.
Hence, a good chance to own an original Tissot PRS 516 Chronograph from the 70ies.
Please also note that the box pictured is NOT part of the sale.
I’m looking for USD 450 (plus s+i). Payment by bank wire. Watch and I are located in Switzerland.
