Hi all. I have for sale a very nice Omega Seamaster Chronograph ref ST 145.016 from 1968. I purchased this watch from Gisbert Joseph a few years ago and it is in very nice (TZ 90% +) condition.
The case is very heavy S/S "cushion shape" screwback with Seamaster Logo in excellent condition still with its original "sun-brushed" finish on the top and satin finish on the sides. Diameter is 36mm without the crown. The case-back has perhaps one light surface scratch (for which you almost need a loupe) but is otherwise perfect (with the Seamaster medallion). The number inside the caseback is 145.016-68 (which date codes it to 1968).
The dial is 90%, completely original black with white hands, white "radial register" sub-dials and red sweep seconds. The tachymeter scale around the circumference of the dial is white with black numerals.
The movement is the Omega cal. 861 with serial no. 28,080,040 which dates the watch to 1968. I haven't had the watch serviced however it runs beautifully and keeps excellent time.
The watch is completely original, triple signed as well as the crystal and crown. It comes on a black (non-Omega) leather strap. The original Gisbert Joseph certificate of authenticity that came with the watch will be included.
$1375. including shipping anywhere CONUS. International shipping at actual cost. Personal checks (time to clear), money orders and PayPal all ok.
Please e-mail me at jvizzini@admiralins.com for photos and with any questions.
Thanks much!!

P.S. If you wish to look up this case reference on the Omega vintage website you'll need to enter "145.0016".
