: to hunt down a GMT.
Merry xmas all, bored and I have a strong urge to try an Autavia GMT...so this is up for sale or trade, only looking for an Autavia GMT to trade against but after a wee think tonight a sale is also possible thus freeing the funds to hunt down a GMT.
The watch is from the 60's, its a 1st edition Aquastar Benthos 500, monster of a diving watch, in immaculate condition for its age, never polished as all original finish is as new, it has hardly a mark on it, serviced within the last 12 months, running perfectly, 60min countdown working flawlessly. Pics now up taken in natural light outside, which shows i am useless at photography.. :? .
It has the signed Aquastar AS1903 movement, unlike the later versions which were'nt signed, movement is also immaculate, i doubt this has been worn much at all, some going for a watch over 40 years old... :D
I also have a spare case, 2 spare crystals, 1 nos.....and an original Aquastar thermometer that attaches to the strap. :D
Link to RReuggar site, with loads of info on this watch....
Trade value is £1600 for everything inc, thanks for looking and to Eddie for the facility.
