Hi,this is one of my daily wearer and decide to check if there's any interest.
First thing ,the 'CWC' on dial is later applied on(should be decades ago) and I found out about that only after I bought it. CWC dont make such models at all. Upon a close up on dial with jeweller's eye-loupe,there is a hardly visible(only to light reflection) logo 'Y' that belongs to the watch brand 'Yema'.
Dial is marked 'Patent pending' Incabloc.
Nevertheless, this is a good old vintage chronograph, all parts are original per case and chrono function works well. Both chrono sweep seconds hand and sub register hand works and reset well. Last serviced told by seller to me was more than 4 years back. And from time to time per 24hrs,I would have to do some adjustment to time as its running a little fast. Movement is clean and will work more accurately after service.
Dial is not perfect and age-ing can be seen on dial. But the markers, sub registers, hands aged to an uniformed degree tone which is quite nice.
Paint on the yatching chrono register is the original layer and this red-blue color really brings out this watch(reason why I bought it).
Bezel turns well in both directions.
Chrono buttons and crown works well, manual winding on crown is smooth.
Diameter across case with crown:42mm
" " without crown:39mm
Lug width:20mm
Note that this is an old valjoux 7730 which had been re-made from venus 188 for a short while only, afterwhich the workhorse 7733/34 came out in market.
IMO,I do not expect such accuracy even on modern chronograph, let alone a 7730 from late 60's. So to me,its running ok.
Asking 950 USD shipped with EMS worldwide and paypal fees included(2-4 days guaranteed, ard $45) Best offers welcome.
